Robin Hemley’s most recent nonfiction book is Borderline Citizen: Dispatches from the Outskirts of Nationhood (University of Nebraska Press). His autofiction, Oblivion: An After-Biography, will be published in 2022 by Gold Wake Press. He is currently director of the George Polk School of Communications at Long Island University.
