Brian Blanchfield is a poet and essayist, an editor of Fence, and the author of Not Even Then (University of California Press) and The History of Ideas, 1973–2012 (Ugly Duckling Presse). He is also the author of a collection of essays, Onesheets (Nightboat), a finalist for a 2013 Creative Capital Innovative Literature grant.
