Biography

Jacques Roubaud is a poet, mathematician, and translator. A member of the Oulipo group, his works include numerous collections of poetry, and books including The Great Fire of London, The Loop, and Mathematics (all Dalkey Archive Press). He has worked as a professor at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, the European Graduate School, and the University of Paris X.
