Antonin Artaud

The legendary poet, playwright, performer, and madman Antonin Artaud performs a passage from his work.

Antonin Artaud (1896–1948) was active in the Surrealist movement until 1930. All of his writings have been collected in the multivolumed set Oeuvres Complètes (Gallimard), and English-language collections include Artaud Anthology, Black Poet and Other Texts, and Selected Texts.
