August Kleinzahler is an American poet. His many poetry collections include The Hotel Oneira (Faber and Faber UK); Sleeping It Off in Rapid City, which was awarded the National Book Critics Circle Award; and The Strange Hours Travelers Keep (both Farrar, Straus and Giroux), which won the Griffin Poetry Prize.
