Benjamin Hollander (1952-2016) was born in Haifa, Israel, and immigrated with his family to New York City in 1956. He has published ten books of poetry, prose, and dialogue, including Memoir American (Punctum Books, 2013), In the House Un-American (Clockroot Books, 2013), and Rituals of Truce and the Other Israeli (Parrhesia Press, 2004).
