Biography

Bernard Hœpffner (1946-2017) was a French writer and translator. His books include Guy Davenport: l’utopie localisée (Belin, 1998) and Portrait du traducteur en escroc (Tristram, 2018). He translated the works of Herman Melville, James Joyce, Mark Twain, and others into French.
