Christopher Middleton (1926-2015) was a British poet and translator, particularly of German literature. Much of his poetry is encapsulated in the collections Collected Poems and Collected Later Poems (both Carcanet Press). His latest translation was The Parable of the Blind, by Gert Hofmann (Fromm International).
