Cynthia Ozick is a short story writer, novelist, and essayist. Her best-known work includes the short fiction collection The Pagan Rabbi and Other Stories (Bear Creek Books) and the novel Foreign Bodies (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing). She has received the Edward Lewis Wallant Award, the National Jewish Book Award (multiple times), the Diamonstein-Spielvogel Award for the Art of the Essay, the Rea Award for the Short Story, the National Book Critics Circle Award, the PEN/Nabokov Award and the PEN/Malamud Award.
