David Markson (1927-2010) was the author of several postmodern novels, including Springer’s Progress (Holt, Rinehart & Winston), Wittgenstein’s Mistress, and Reader’s Block (both Dalkey Archive Press). His final book was The Last Novel (Shoemaker & Hoard).
