Tiphanie Yanique is a novelist, storyteller, and poet from the Virgin Islands. She is a winner of the Academy of American Poets Prize, the Bocas Fiction Prize for Caribbean Literature, and the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize. Her most recent book is Monster in the Middle (Riverhead).
