Biography

Brenda Hillman is the author of eleven full-length poetry collections from, the most recent of which are In A Few Minutes Before LaterSeasonal Works with Letters on Fire, and Extra Hidden Life, Among the Days (all Wesleyan University Press). She is also the author of one book of prose essays, Three Talks: Metaphor & Metonymy, Meaning & Mystery, Magic & Morality (University of Virginia Press). Hillman is Emerita Professor of English at St. Mary’s College in Moraga, California.
